FAQ's

Who is eligible to enter?

Farmers or producers located in Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana. You do not need to be a First South Farm Credit member.

What kind of video should I submit?

A 30-second to 2-minute video showing your 2025 harvest. It can be personal, scenic, action-packed, or quiet and reflective. It’s your story—just make it yours.

What crops are eligible?

Any crop that is harvested during the 2025 season, including cotton, soybeans, corn, rice, sugarcane, peanuts, wheat, and more.

Can livestock or poultry farmers participate?

While harvest is the main theme, if you raise poultry or livestock and can tie in seasonal work or land stewardship, you’re welcome to submit.

Do I need to be a professional videographer?

Not at all! A smartphone video is more than enough. We’re looking for authenticity—not polished productions.

Can I submit more than one video?

You can submit one entry per person per month. So yes, multiple entries across the campaign timeline are welcome.

How are winners chosen?

A panel from First South Farm Credit will review entries each month and select one winner based on creativity, clarity, and storytelling. In December, the public will vote among the monthly winners for a Fan Favorite.

What happens after I submit?

You’ll receive a confirmation message, and we’ll be in touch if your video is selected. Winning and selected entries will be posted to our YouTube channel and social media.

Can I share my video?

Absolutely—we encourage it! If your video is posted, we’ll tag you and send you a direct link. We’d love for you to share with your community.
